I am running for the 54B seat in the Minnesota House of Representatives and hope you will support my effort.  As a school student my favorite subjects were civics and geography.  I have continued to follow civic/political issues and events carefully and have a strong commitment to acting locally and becoming involved, rather than criticizing from the sidelines or resigning to apathy.  I am energized by the involvement of citizens in our district and the state—the best places to live, work, and enjoy life.  I strive for a balanced life—body, mind, and spirit/creativity—and believe that WE CAN ALWAYS DO BETTER—TOGETHER! 

I work hard to maintain:
            -Independent thought
            -Common sense
            -Care and empathy for others
            -Interest in the health, safety, and success of all people
            -Fiscal responsibility.

 
I believe that I have earned the respect of voters in Vadnais Heights through my years of service and am proud to have received the top vote count in our city in my 2004 re-election for City Council.
